Sudanese survivors of el-Fasher siege tell the BBC about RSF brutality | BBC News

The BBC has been hearing testimony from civilians who fled the Sudanese city of el-Fasher.

Hundreds of people there are reported to have been killed by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Their fighters, who have laid siege to the city for months, are accused of committing mass murder after capturing the Sudanese army’s last outpost in the west of the country.

RSF leader Gen Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo admitted to “violations” in el-Fasher and said they would be investigated.
