*The Economic Freedom Fighters party is set to launch its 2026 local government election manifesto during its 13th anniversary rally at the Thohoyandou Stadium in Limpopo today.
The party says its manifesto will prioritise the needs of ordinary South Africans.
*The funeral service for Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns star player Jayden Adams will be held today in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape.
*The funeral of veteran actor Seputla Sebogodi will be held in Polokwane, Limpopo today.
Sebogodi died last Wednesday following complications related to diabetes.
*Member states of the International Criminal Court have voted to dismiss Karim Khan as prosecutor following allegations of sexual misconduct.
According to sources, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter, 82 of the court’s 125 member states voted in favour of the prosecutor’s removal.
*Team South Africa is on the medals table at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. The swimmers produced all three with a gold for Nathan Hendricks, while the men’s and women’s four-by-100 metres freestyle relay teams won bronze.
