‘What they did to us was terrible’: Trump lashes out at ‘foolish’ Democrat politicians
US President Donald Trump has lashed out at “foolish politicians” for letting illegal immigrants cross the border “totally unchecked”.
“For years, Washington DC was run by foolish politicians who thought they could defy the laws of world history, violating every common sense principle,” Mr Trump said in his US Coast Guard Academy commencement speech.
“25 million people, and they came in as murderers, they were coming in from other countries, they came in from prisons, they were drug dealers, they came in from mental institutions”.
“They allowed them to just flow into our country, and we’re getting them out.”
