Surveillance video from Japan’s Kumamoto prefecture captured the daring moment vehicles began uncontrollably swaying back and forth during a 7.1 earthquake.

The rumble caused a mall to crumble, a bridge to buckle, a paper factory’s chimney to collapse, and struck several homes.
