Vanessa Trump says she has breast cancer in Instagram post
Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr. and mother of five of President Trump’s grandchildren, says she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Vanessa announced her diagnosis in an Instagram post, and said she’s already had a surgical procedure performed.
“While this isn’t the news anyone expects,” Vanessa Trump wrote on Instagram. “I’m working closely with my medical team for a treatment plan.”
“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” Vanessa Trump added.
The announcement quickly drew support from members of the Trump family and supporters online, including a public response from Ivanka Trump, who commented: “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”
Trump’s former daughter-in-law is currently in a relationship with Tiger Woods.
