US markets see some ‘record high’ results following ‘mostly positive’ trading session
CommSec’s James Gruber claims US share markets on Wall Street had a “mostly positive day” during trading overnight.
“The S&P 500 and Nasdaq reached fresh record highs, up 0.8 per cent and 1.6 per cent respectively,” he said.
Mr Gruber said commodities were a “mixed bag” with oil and copper flat while gold drifted lower by 0.6 per cent overnight.
