US Deploys Kamikaze Drone Boats to Sink Battleship in Awesome Exercise
The US used kamikaze drone boats to sink a battleship during a massive naval drill on July 17, in which they targeted a decommissioned assault ship, the USS Peleliu. The unmanned surface vessels were launched as part of Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2026 (RIMPAC), which is the world’s largest international maritime exercise, with participation from Australia, Canada, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain.
