Sen. Lindsey Graham’s casket arrives for funeral ceremony at Capitol Rotunda
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who was a central figure in Congress during more than 31 years of service, will be memorialized Tuesday as lawmakers from both political parties and world leaders gather to pay their respects to the hawkish Republican.
Graham served as one of the House prosecutors during the Senate impeachment trial of former President Bill Clinton. Graham was perennially in the middle of complex debates over immigration and budgeting from his roles leading the Judiciary and Budget committees.
President Donald Trump will deliver a eulogy at Washington National Cathedral for the Republican senator who became one of his leading advocates in Congress for border security and economic policy such as the major package of tax cuts approved in July 2025.
