US Claims Iran Girls’ School Operated on Active Missile Base
Brad Cooper told Congress the U.S. investigation into a deadly blast at a girls’ school in Iran is “complex” because the school was located on an active Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps cruise missile base. An initial internal U.S. military review found American forces were likely responsible for the Feb. 28 strike in Minab, which Iranian officials say killed 168 children, most of them girls. The Pentagon has since expanded the investigation and pledged transparency once the probe is complete.
