US buys Australian underwater ‘stealth’ drones set to reshape maritime warfare
C2 Robotics has just sold three of its underwater vehicles to the United States in what looks like a significant win for Australia’s homegrown defence industry.
C2 Robotics Chief Executive Troy Duggan details the secret underwater drone that Aussie creators believed could change the face of maritime warfare.
“It’s certainly saleable, affordable, and it’s very stealthy,” Mr Duggan told Sky News Australia.
“It’s an incredible capability.
“It’s doing big missions that otherwise submarines wouldn’t be able to do.”
