Trump’s psychedelics executive order could overhaul mental health treatment
We watched over the weekend as President Donald Trump signed an executive order that aims to fast-track the study of using psychedelics. The goal is to treat Americans, and veterans in particular, who are living with depression, PTSD, addiction and other conditions. LiveNOW’s Andy Mac is speaking with Steve Nielsen from our partners at FOX 10 Phoenix as Trump says, “Everybody is so strongly in favor of this. It’s for a lot of people, but it’s for our military in particular.” LiveNOW is also speaking with Prof. Glenn Cohen from Harvard Law School about the potential impacts this executive order could have on drug distribution.
