Trump Honors NCAA Champion Indiana Hoosiers Football Team

President Trump honored the NCAA champion Indiana Hoosiers football team at the White House Monday.
“I think he’s the coach of the last decade,” Trump said of Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti, “because he took the team – nobody knew him, nobody knew the team – and he ended up taking this team all the way.”
“People were betting against you all the way,” the president added.  Star quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who was recently drafted by the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, was among several players that did not attend the event because it conflicted with the start of NFL training camp.
