Suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and Ekurhuleni City Manager Kagiso Lerutla have each been granted R30 000 bail at the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court. The pair are facing charges including corruption, fraud, and defeating the ends of justice. They have been ordered not to contact the state’s witnesses, and will return to court next month.
