Good Samaritans and authorities worked together to rescue a woman who was trapped in a vehicle that fell off an overpass in Houston on Wednesday, July 22.
This footage captured by Instagram user @_poncce_ shows several people trying to break open the vehicle, which had three women inside it when it landed upside-down on the freeway after plunging off an overpass near Beltway 8.
Authorities could be seen removing a woman from the vehicle and carrying her out on a stretcher.
According to local news reports, Houston police said the car was driving outbound when it turned onto a ramp and flipped.
The three women in the vehicle were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive, local news reported.
