The wait is over.. Western Sydney airport is here

I travelled from Central to the new airport.. here’s how long it took.

Sydney’s second airport will welcome its first passengers this weekend, becoming Australia’s first newly built international airport in more than 50 years.

Located near Badgerys Creek in western Sydney, the airport will initially host services from airlines including Jetstar, Qantas, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, Fiji Airways, Qatar Airways and Vietjet.

Unlike Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, flights can arrive and depart around the clock, as officials expect the Western Sydney International Airport to initially serve up to 10 million passengers a year.
