Spectators welcome the solar eclipse with cheers and sparkly glasses
Onlookers cheered on the total solar eclipse on August 12, with footage showing spectators from across Spain cheering on the sun while decked out in adorned protective glasses.
If you missed this eclipse, don’t worry — another one is just around the corner. A total solar eclipse will take place next August, with a path of totality passing over the Strait of Gibraltar, Libya and Egypt.
