Perth couple’s kitchen set alight by oil fire
A Perth couple has shared the moment their kitchen went up in flames after trying to follow a TikTok recipe, instead starting an oil fire.
After applying too much heat to the wrong type of oil, the man ran a tap over the flaming pot, causing the flames to burst upward and scorch the ceiling.
Faye Johnson, who filmed the video, later joked they took the instruction to use “burning hot” oil too literally. #cooking #fire #oil #socialmedia #perth
