Perhaps it’s time to freeze #war in #Ukraine, Tokayev tells #Putin
Speaking alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin at a Russia-Kazakhstan forum in the Siberian city of Omsk, Kazakhstan’s leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that Moscow should aim to make peace with Ukraine. However, Tokayev highlighted his country would not play mediator in the next round of peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv as it had done in 2022 and 2025.
