In eastern Estonia, the city of Narva sits just meters from Russia, divided by a river once called the Bridge of Friendship.
Today, it is a frontline of rising tension. With a large Russian-speaking population and constant awareness of potential conflict, Estonia is strengthening its defenses against hybrid threats, including migration pressure and security risks on the EU’s eastern edge.
