Minister Buti Manamela launches “To the Power of X²” national initiative


Lack of work experience often leads to unsuccessful job applications, as employers often require a minimum of two years experience for most vacancies.

These are just some of the concerns from North West unemployed graduates set to benefit from the “To the Power of X²” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Training in Mahikeng.

More than a thousand of unemployed graduates in Mahikeng attended the launch, and noted that this flagship national workplace learning programme will address one of the biggest barriers facing their job application journey.

The Higher Education and Training Minister Buti Manamela launched the “To the Power of X²” national initiative, which will be spearheaded by the Services SETA.
