Melaka polls: DAP skips Bemban in seven-seat election strategy

DAP’s decision to contest only seven seats in the upcoming Melaka state election, including dropping Bemban, was based on its assessment of its chances of winning, party secretary-general Anthony Loke said.

Speaking to reporters on Monday (Oct 26), Loke said DAP would concentrate its resources on the seven seats, while Pakatan Harapan would focus on the 21 seats allocated to the coalition, which comprises DAP, PKR and Amanah.
