Matjhabeng | Residents accuse municipality of sidelining them
Some residents of the Matjhabeng Local Municipality in the Free State have accused the municipality of denying them employment opportunities.
They say when posts are advertised, locals are sidelined or ordered to pay bribes to councillors to be hired.
The residents picketed outside the municipal offices in Welkom.
They also decried poor service delivery and dilapidated infrastructure.
