After arriving in the UK this Tuesday night, Pres. Trump’s state visit officially kicks off Wednesday with a ceremony at Windsor Castle, the Royal Family’s traditional home.
After a fiery Senate committee hearing Tuesday, during which Kash Patel got into several arguments with Democratic senators including California Sen. Adam Schiff, Kash Patel will return to Capitol Hill, this time to answer questions from the House Judiciary Committee.
After the Fed wraps up a two-day policy meeting, Chair Jerome Powell is expected to deliver remarks on the topic of interest rates along with any updates on a potential cut to the key federal interest rate. Powell has been under fire from Pres. Trump for several months now over Fed Reserve policy, with Trump urging and at times threatening Powell with his job in an effort to get him to lower the federal fund rate. In numerous statements Powell has noted that inflation concerns have prevented the Fed from lowering that rate.
Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk, appeared virtually for his first court hearing Tuesday.
