Kampung Sungai Baru Residents’ Committee ready to meet government rep

The Kampung Sungai Baru Residents’ Rights Committee has expressed its readiness to engage in discussions with a government representative over the ongoing eviction of homes in the area.

The Committee’s counsel N. Surendran said the residents hoped for constructive dialogue but urged authorities to halt eviction operations in the meantime.
