Iran Now Controls Strait of Hormuz: ‘Ships Cannot Pass Without Iranian Approval’ #shorts

Iran is tightening its control over the Strait of Hormuz, with tankers now reportedly required to seek approval from Iranian authorities before passing through the critical oil shipping route, according to Israeli analyst Danny Citinowicz. The analyst said vessels must complete a formal process involving Iran’s Foreign Ministry and military, including the Revolutionary Guard, before being cleared to leave the strait, with potential fees also being imposed. He said Iran is also using the strategic waterway to expand its geopolitical influence by favoring ships linked to allies such as China and Russia, while other nations may require separate agreements with Tehran. Citinowicz warned that any U.S. attempt to challenge Iran’s growing control could trigger further military escalation, as global energy shipments become increasingly dependent on decisions made by Tehran.
