Trump: ‘I’ll go to Israel, run for prime minister’
US President Donald Trump has joked he “could run for prime minister” in Israel, referencing a poll he says shows his likeability at “99 per cent”.
“I’m right now at 99% in Israel … maybe after I do this, I’ll go to Israel, run for prime minister.”
Responding to a question on how long Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would hold off on strikes on Iran, Trump said “he’ll do whatever I want him to do”.
