“The heart of Europe beats in Central Eastern Europe” – that’s how new Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar described the trajectory of his foreign policy plans during his visit to Poland, the new leader’s first official trip abroad. We’re now joined live by our reporter Kazimierz Łysiak, who followed the meeting between Magyar and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
WHAT NEXT FOR U.S. TROOP PRESENCE IN POLAND?
Four thousand American troops will be withdrawn from Poland but only temporarily – that’s according to U.S. officials, who have rushed to explain the situation after a week of conflicting statements from both Washington and Warsaw.
VILNIUS ON ALERT AS SUSPECTED DRONE TRIGGERS AIR DANGER WARNING
On Wednesday, Lithuania issued an “air danger” alert, asking citizens to take shelter, and suspended traffic at the capital’s airport amid fears of drones violating the country’s airspace. The alert has since been called off.
