‘Hate and division’: Lee Hanson reacts to student protest of One Nation

One Nation National Executive Member Lee Hanson says school should be a place of “education and debate” instead of “hate and division”.

“Have we not heard about … the top three [political parties] talking about deporting illegal immigrants? So, it’s not just One Nation,” Ms Hanson told News24 host Paul Murray.

“It breaks my heart … the fact that schools are meant to be for education and debate … it should not be a breeding ground for political activism and socialism. These kids don’t have any real-world experience.

“It’s just fostering hate and division; it really is.”
