Fuel Price Increase | I am putting in petrol everyday, It’s very difficult – E-hailing driver

The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has issued a last-minute correction to the diesel price adjustments set to take effect at midnight. In a statement released earlier, the department admitted to a calculation error in their initial announcement on Monday. The corrected figures show that diesel will now increase by R5,27 per litre, down from the previously reported R6,19.
While the nearly R1 difference is a welcome reprieve, the increases will shrink many households’ disposable income. SABC News Reporter, Tebogo Phakedi and Video journalist Sondiswa Shabalala are in Mahikeng monitoring last minute purchases.
