Two unidentified gunmen reportedly opened fire on board a public bus in the city of Jerusalem on September 8, 2025. The attackers reportedly boarded the bus and began shooting as it was travelling on a road that leads to Jewish settlements in the city of East Jerusalem. At least five people were killed, and as many as 15 others were injured, according to early reports. Police said two attackers were “neutralised” soon after the shooting began.
