First National Bank Building lights up its sign again
Months after buying St. Paul’s historic First National Bank Building for the massively discounted price of $3.8 million, new owner Jamie Rand fixed broken lights on the property’s iconic “1st” sign. The Florida real estate investor gathered St. Paul leaders to celebrate the symbolic win for the city’s downtown, which struggled with the COVID-19 pandemic and the collapse of its largest commercial landlord.
