#Farage faces Clacton by-election
Nigel Farage is expected to cruise to victory in the Clacton-on-Sea by-election, with 34 candidates making it the longest ballot paper in British electoral history.
Among the candidates is Count Binface, prompting many locals to voice frustration at what they see as a farcical election. But the vote carries bigger implications for Farage, with his national ambitions and desire to become Prime Minister.
With scrutiny over a £5 million donation and his links to convicted fraudster George Cottrell, questions remain over whether this by-election could be just the beginning of Farage’s political troubles.
