Winter enthusiasts and families have flocked from various parts of the Eastern Cape to witness active heavy snowfall in KuGompo City.
An intense cut-off low system has triggered severe winter weather across the country, causing major snow-related road closures, traffic disruptions, and hazardous driving conditions on key mountain passes and regional arteries.
Meanwhile, the South African Weather Service issued a level 6 warning of disruptive snow to several municipalities in the province.
