Does slight rise in US inflation hint at possible US Fed cut | Woodside North West Shelf gas project

The US has seen a slight rise in inflation, as businesses continue to pass on the cost of tariffs to customers. It paves the way for a possible rate cut by the US Federal Reserve for the first time this year.

Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka will receive a $49.9 million exit package, including 10 million shares, as revealed in the company’s annual report.

The Federal government has given the greenlight to the extension of the Woodside North West Shelf gas project in Western Australia.
