Chance of Democrats shutting down Omar probe is ‘less than 25 per cent’
Former House Judiciary Committee chief counsel Julian Epstein says the chances of a Democratic Congress shutting down the Ilhan Omar probe are “less than 25 per cent”.
“The idea that Congress can shut down this investigation is far-fetched,” Mr Epstein told News24 host Elizabeth Pipko.
“The only way they can do is to cut off funding, and to cut off funding they would need a presidential signature.
“The ability of a Democratic Congress to shut the investigation down is less than 25 per cent.”
