‘Bleak’ midterms approaching US voters amid Republican dissonance
Democratic strategist Jim Kessler warns of the upcoming US midterm elections and presumes they are “going to be awful” amid current poll results.
“The midterms look bleak no matter what, even if he is Jesus, the midterms look bleak for him,” Mr Kessler told Sky News Australia.
“Almost every recent poll has shown voters moving further away from republicans in the last seven weeks since the Iran War.
“What started out as a bad picture is now a dismal picture, and there’s not a ton of time to repair that.
“The midterms are going to be awful.”
