Black Sea ports become key battleground for Russia & Ukraine | Ukraine Brief

At least four people were killed and more than 90 injured in Russian strikes against Ukraine over the last day, with aerial bombs and drones used in populated areas.

Meanwhile, Kyiv confirmed strikes Friday against a Novatek natural gas complex at Russia’s Ust-Luga port. Two of the facility’s processing units are now reportedly damaged.

The United Nations has announced that July was the deadliest month for Ukrainian civilians in over four years, coming as Russian forces rejected a ceasefire and vowed further strikes against Ukraine.

To discuss this and more, Ukraine Brief’s host Ashim Kumar is joined by Volodymyr Yermolenko, Editor-in-Chief of UkraineWorld.org.
