Bahrain’s ‘crackdown’ on its Shiite population | DW News
Human rights groups have accused Bahrain of a crackdown against its Shiite population since the US-Israel war with Iran began. 69 people have had their citizenship stripped, after being accused of espionage and having links to Iran’s RevolutionayGuard. Bahrain has denied cracking down on citizens based on their religious identity and has accused Iran of internal security violations.
