Australians should be ‘concerned’ about the 2026 budget’s support for ‘more investment’

HSBC Economist Paul Bloxham says there is discussion about the impacts the Albanese government’s capital gains tax changes will have on the economy.

Mr Bloxham told Sky News Australia that we still have to “wait and see” how the changes play out.

“One of the things that we need to be a little bit concerned about is that there are enough measures in the budget that actually support more investment.”
