Abdul El-Sayed’s Michigan primary win signals shift within Democratic Party

News24 US election expert Remy Numa provided analysis on the recent Michigan primary, noting Abdul El-Sayed’s victory and the implications for the Democratic Party.

“This is a momentous victory for the far left side of the democratic party,” Mr Numa told News24.

“He has really put some distance between himself and the DSA, and I think there is a few reasons for that.

“I don’t think he wants to be associated with that brand.”
