Millions of migrants have lived in South Africa over the years due to a variety of reasons, including economic opportunities, political instability, environmental changes, and personal goals. However, we have seen over the past few weeks renewed protests and anti-migrant sentiments from some South African civil movement groups. The demand for undocumented foreign nationals to leave South Africa has garnered media attention.
