Terrifying moment car drives into pedestrians
At least eight people have been injured, four of whom are in serious condition, when a man drove a car into a crowd in Modena, Italy on Saturday. The 30-year-old driver attempted to flee after the car crashed into a shop window but was stopped by pedestrians, one of whom he attacked with a knife and slightly injured, according to Modena’s mayor.
Modena Prefect Fabrizia Triolo said the driver had been known to local mental health services for schizoid disorders, while officials stressed that early findings pointed to possible mental instability but required further verification.
