Zelenskyy meets top commanders after Fedorov dismissal | Ukraine Brief
President Zelenskyy held multiple meetings with Ukrainian officials on Friday, including with newly appointed Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi. While the defense and foreign ministries remain under interim leadership, Koretskyi also held meetings with members of his newly appointed cabinet.
The President also held an in-person consultation with Andrii Biletsky, Commander of the 3rd Army Corps, whom former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov suggested to replace current Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
This comes as Ukrainian forces continue their attacks against Russia’s “shadow fleet,” striking 12 vessels over the last day. Meanwhile, Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine’s civilians, killing at least 10 people over the last day.
