Xi pitches China as leader of global AI order
At the World AI Conference in Shanghai, Chinese President Xi Jinping called for an inclusive global AI framework, pledging support for developing nations, 5,000 training places and the creation of AI‑application centres with blocs such as Asean, the African Union and the BRICS countries.
