Working from home is increasing across Australia, with one in ten job advertisements on Seek now mentioning remote work options. The most common work-from-home roles include occupational therapists, accountants, property managers, speech pathologists and admin officers. While the trend is strongest in cities with long commutes and attracts more job applicants, some workers prefer office environments and employers are increasingly using surveillance software to monitor remote staff.
