Workers call for employer to provide them with PPE

General workers in the Lichtenburg-based Ditsobotla Local Municipality in the North West province are calling for their employer to provide them with personal protective equipment. They remove waste from pit toilets in Coligny but have no gloves, masks or any other protective clothing. The municipality is severely cash-strapped and has been subject to intervention by the national government.
