Woman adopts stray dog she found while on a run
While out on a run in Hawaii, Amy Kanakuri bumped into a fury friend. She made sure the dog wasn’t lost or chipped, and went through the legal adoption process to bring the pup, named Mahina, to her new forever home.
“Somehow we found each other,” Kanakuri wrote on Instagram. “As much as my husband and I thought we weren’t ready for a dog, we can’t say no to her.”
