Witness confirms no ‘top-down approach’ by Najib in 1MDB operations, says Shafee

Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s lead counsel, Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, said on Tuesday (Aug 4) that a witness in the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) civil suit had confirmed there was no “top-down approach” by the former prime minister in directing the company’s operations.
