Wild’s Brock Faber is getting closer to returning from skull fracture
Brock Faber is getting closer to returning for the Minnesota Wild.
The defenseman practiced Thursday for the first time since suffering a skull fracture that required surgery after being struck by a shot during a Sept. 25 preseason game against the Dallas Stars.
Faber, 24, has been medically cleared but isn’t physically ready to play. He’s out for tonight’s game against the San Jose Sharks and Saturday’s matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning, with coach John Hynes calling his return date a “moving target.”
