WHO declares Ebola outbreak a global health emergency
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
This is reserved for diseases that pose a public health risk to other countries.
The declaration comes just days after Uganda confirmed a case in its capital Kampala.
